SERVICE DETAIL

Medicare Plans

Medicare is a federal health insurance program for people age 65 and older, certain individuals under age 65 with qualifying disabilities, and those diagnosed with End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) or Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). Generally, individuals must be U.S. citizens or legal residents who have lived in the United States for at least five continuous years to qualify. Choosing the right Medicare coverage is an important decision, and understanding your options can help you protect both your health and your finances.

At Neikoles Insurance Agency, we simplify the Medicare process by providing clear guidance and personalized recommendations. We’ll help you understand your coverage options, compare plans from trusted insurance carriers, and select the coverage that best meets your healthcare needs and budget.

Whether you’re enrolling in Medicare for the first time, transitioning from employer coverage, or reviewing your benefits during the Annual Enrollment Period, our experienced team is here to guide you every step of the way.

At Neikoles Insurance Agency, we simplify the process by explaining your options in clear, easy-to-understand language. We’ll help you compare plans, review costs, and ensure you understand your coverage before making a decision. Our goal is to help you enroll with confidence and enjoy peace of mind knowing your healthcare needs are protected.

Whether you’re approaching Medicare eligibility, moving from employer coverage, or reviewing your current benefits during Annual Enrollment, we’re here to help every step of the way.

1. Original Medicare (Parts A & B)

Original Medicare includes Part A (Hospital Insurance) and Part B (Medical Insurance). While it provides essential healthcare coverage, many beneficiaries choose to add a Medicare Supplement plan or a Prescription Drug Plan to enhance their overall protection.

2. Medicare Advantage (Part C)

Medicare Advantage plans combine your hospital (Part A) and medical (Part B) benefits into one comprehensive plan. Many plans also include prescription drug coverage (Part D) along with additional benefits not offered under Original Medicare.

3. Prescription Drug Plans (Part D)

Part D plans help lower the cost of prescription medications by covering many commonly prescribed drugs. We'll help you compare available plans based on your medications, preferred pharmacies, and monthly budget to find the best option.

4. Medicare Supplement (Medigap)

Medicare Supplement plans help pay many of the out-of-pocket costs not covered by Original Medicare, including deductibles, copayments, and coinsurance. These plans provide added financial protection and greater peace of mind when receiving medical care.

Important Medicare Supplement Disclosure

This is a solicitation of insurance. Contact may be made by an insurance agent/producer or insurance company. Medicare Supplement insurance plans are not connected with or endorsed by the U.S. government or the federal Medicare program.

5. Special Needs Plans (SNP)

Special Needs Plans (SNPs) are specialized Medicare Advantage plans designed to provide coordinated care for individuals with unique healthcare needs.

"Dual Special Needs Plans (D-SNPs) are available for individuals who qualify for both Medicare and Medicaid, helping coordinate benefits and provide additional support."

Chronic Special Needs Plans (C-SNPs) are designed for individuals diagnosed with certain qualifying chronic health conditions, offering care tailored to their specific medical needs.

Choosing Medicare coverage isn’t simply about selecting a plan—it’s about finding coverage that supports your healthcare needs today and in the future. Our licensed insurance professionals take the time to explain your options clearly, answer your questions, and help you make confident decisions.

We proudly work with leading Medicare carriers, including UnitedHealthcare®, Humana, Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas, Baylor Scott & White, HealthSpring (Cigna), Wellcare, Mutual of Omaha, and other trusted providers to help you find coverage that fits your unique needs.

Whether you’re enrolling in Medicare for the first time, reviewing your current plan, or exploring Special Needs Plans, Neikoles Insurance Agency is committed to helping you compare your options and enroll with confidence.
